Terms of Service

Welcome to FlickNote. By using our app or services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use FlickNote.

1. Who We Are

FlickNote is operated by Guion FZE, registered in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, UAE.

2. What You're Agreeing To

FlickNote is a voice-based note-taking app that transcribes, organizes, and syncs your content to third-party services. These terms govern your use of the app and any related services.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 4 years old to use FlickNote (age requirements may vary by region per App Store guidelines). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently erased within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

  • FlickNote offers subscription plans with included usage quotas, plus pay-as-you-go credits for usage beyond your plan limits.
  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds. Platform-mandated refunds (e.g., required by Apple or Google) are handled through their respective processes.

5. Your Content

  • You own your content (voice recordings, notes, etc.).
  • We process your content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose beyond delivering FlickNote's functionality.
  • You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content as needed to operate the service.

6. Children

Our Services are rated 4+ on the App Store and are suitable for all ages. For users under 13, we recommend parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children without appropriate parental consent where required by law. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data without proper consent, please contact us at support@flicknote.app and we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Integrations

FlickNote connects to third-party services (Notion, Todoist, etc.) at your request. We facilitate these connections but have no control over third-party services. We are not liable for third-party service outages, data loss, API changes, or policy changes.

8. Acceptable Use

Don't:

  • Abuse, exploit, or attempt to compromise the security of FlickNote
  • Use FlickNote for illegal purposes
  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the app
  • Attempt to bypass AI content filters or use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Use the AI features in ways that violate third-party AI provider terms of service

You are solely responsible for all content you create or generate using FlickNote, including AI-assisted content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in malicious activity, without refund.

9. Service Availability

FlickNote is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guion FZE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of FlickNote, including but not limited to any content generated through AI features. You acknowledge that AI outputs may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unintended, and you are solely responsible for reviewing and using such outputs.

11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@flicknote.app. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre (Tahkeem), or in the courts of Sharjah, UAE.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of FlickNote after changes constitutes acceptance.
